eLaps LLC is creating new technology for competitve swimming. Focusing primarily on distance races, eLaps produces an Automatic Underwater Lap Counting System (AULCS) to be used in both practice and competition, allowing swimmers to train and race worry free.
A mom and daughter team, Georgi Mathews and Kelly Landthrip both have an affinity for the water. Georgi competed at the collegiate Division III level, and Kelly, a seasoned swim mom, enjoys master's practices and sharing a lane with Georgi when she's home.
